DELAYS HIT SENIOR OPEN QUALIFYING
Jul 19, 2010

Heavy rain has caused delays at qualifying for The Senior Open Championship presented by MasterCard, with play suspended at Downfield Golf Club.

Only 14 out of 30 groups completed their rounds at Downfield although play was concluded at Monifieth Links, and Panmure Golf Club.

The 268 players taking part are competing for a place in the field at Carnoustie this week alongside some of golfs leading names, including Bernhard Langer, Corey Pavin, Sam Torrance, Tom Watson and Ian Woosnam.

Full results will be posted here once play is completed.
